UX Designer Position
We are looking for a couple roles, so don’t fret on titles so much if it’s a right fit we will know it.
We’re looking for designers who are passionate about the details of UX/UI. Just as much, they want to be artists and work on projects that are uncomfortable, unknown and have no limitations.
Lassie Collective is a very small team of seasoned UX designers. Our business depends on our team being UX driven and nimble (dedicated, organized and professional). We thrive on doing things that are new or working on projects that are in alternative industries or mediums.
Be amazing at UX, be intensely dependable and pleasurable to work with. Be ok with spending a day building out a very detailed page in Sketch or Confluence. Be delighted when you’re asked to help define the packaging for a new line of cosmetics. Be excited to come to work and help us with everything because we’ll teach you a lot.
As Part Of This Role, You May Be Involved In Or Exposed To The Following
- Participate in conversations starting in early concept development, providing input on wireframes as they are being developed and helping to form the nuances of the final design
- Produce thorough specs for visual solutions to complex interaction problems
- Champion solutions that are intuitive, surprising and relevant
- Eloquently communicate design decisions to stakeholders
- Be a thoughtful voice in the evolution of building design solutions for clients
- Advocate for the user as much as for the business
Qualifications
- Portfolio which demonstrates minimum 2 years experience in Graphic Design for digital experiences or web design.
- Credits earned towards a Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, User Experience, Human Factors or related field
- Fluency in visual design principles and ability to sweat the details, knowing how and when to break the rules will set you apart from the rest.
- Comfortable in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch and Confluence.
